Top Cosmetic Treatments Of 2023
The start of a new year is often a time when we take stock of our lives, we often look for changes we can make to help us feel better about ourselves. This may be to drink less alcohol or join a gym or for some, it may be to treat themselves to a new smile so they can feel more attractive and confident. Over the last 12 months, we have seen a huge rise in minimally invasive treatments but which treatments do we think will be most popular in 2023?
Composite Bonding
Also known as composite contouring or composite veneers.
Composite bonding allows for fantastic improvements in smiles by the skillful and clever addition of white filling material to teeth. This allows for the change in shape and size of teeth. Usually paired with teeth whitening for best results.
Composite bonding is perfect for -
Repairing chipped teeth.
Discoloured teeth.
Straighten crooked teeth.
Finishing touches after orthodontic treatment.
ClearCorrect Teeth Straightening
ClearCorrect is a series of custom-made clear aligners which are comfortable, removable, and very discreet. They are worn for a minimum of 22 hours a day and only removed when eating, drinking, and brushing your teeth.
Orthodontic treatment has a number of benefits beyond the visible improvement in the smile.
Easier to clean
Reduces risk of dental decay
Reduces risk of gum disease
Improve bite issues
Improve jaw function
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a safe and effective way to improve the shade of teeth.
Tea, coffee, red wine, smoking, and aging will dull your teeth over time. With the Boutique Whitening system, you can erase years’ worth of staining to your teeth in just a couple of weeks.
How it works -
We make custom-made whitening trays, whitening gel is placed into the whitening trays and worn for either 1 hour or 4 hours (depending on the prescription) every day for 2 weeks. Over the 2 weeks, your teeth will gradually lighten, improving the shade of the teeth.
Prior to any whitening treatment, you must make sure you are dentally fit. Whitening should only ever be performed on patients with healthy teeth and gums. Whitening an unhealthy mouth can cause pain, sensitivity, and discomfort.
Unfortunately, the whitening gel is unable to change the shade of dental crowns, veneers (including composite veneers), and any composite fillings. If you are considering any cosmetic dental treatment or smile makeovers we always suggest any planned whitening treatment is carried out beforehand.
Dental Implants
A dental implant is a titanium screw that is placed into the jaw bone and a cosmetic implant crown is screwed into that implant.
Dental Implants are regarded as the next best thing to your natural tooth. If looked after properly can last 30 years+.
Benefits of dental implants -
Prevents bone loss
Replaces missing gaps
Restores face structure
Enables speech
A permanent solution to missing teeth
